Hello, i am currently having a problem on my website that i am hoping somebody is able to help me fix here. I am getting the "Only registered users can send messages" message displayed even though i am signed in. I have done lots of troubleshooting but i cannot figure out the solution. Even all of my members are getting the same problem that i am. Can anyone help solve my problem? Any help would be greatly appreciated and i do thank you in advance for anything you can provide

I have tried to reinstall a bunch and leaving my edits completely out and its definitely not anything i have edited causing this issue cause it happens on a complete fresh install. I am clearing my sites cache and all the basic stuff but it still does not want to let registered users send any messages at all, it just displays that error. Thank you for your response

Is anybody able to help me solve this issue? Sorry for the double post but i went from the free version which was registered users only, to the paid version which is guests allowed an my members hate it. Thank you for understanding.

So... with pro version, if the opcion "Only for registered users" is enabled, when you are login the component give a "Only registered users can send messages"? Do yo use the Joomla cache? Are you using the pro version, now, in your site? With free version it works ok?

Yes, if the "only registered" option is enabled on the pro version, it displays the "only registered users can send messages" error. I have cleared the cache, i am using the pro version right now and when i was using the free version, the registered users only was working perfectly fine.

I am sorry but am i going to get more then one reply a day? This problem is really frusterating, my users hate it and i am losing traffic to my site cause guests can chat. I have for this product so could i get some support that makes me pleased with my purchase? I don't think its to much to ask.

The msg is get in componente, module or both?

Did you use the last version? Download it again and reinstall

Right now i have it set to guests can chat so you will not get the error. I have uninstalled everything and reinstalled it more then once with no luck. It is the component that i have set for the chat page. If you are available right now, i can set it to registered only so you can see the error for yourself.
